ABOUT LISA
I have an M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Anaheim University.
I started teaching at Nova Intercultural Network in Nagoya, Japan, moved to Tokyo and taught at Waseda University from 2005-2009.
I moved to California in the U.S.A., taught in Berkeley, and now I live in Los Angeles. I worked with international students at Marymount California University in L.A. to prepare them for American University studies.
I taught conversation English for many years; I have worked in test preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC and led Business English classes at LSI and Waseda University. I was the designated tutor for International Students at MCU and I still tutor International Students in American Universities now, by email and Skype. I help University Students to understand and complete assignments. My students have been International Scholars and Professors, and I assisted them with academic papers and lecture preparation. Some learners are Company employees who need English to work in America or they do business internationally.
